KNOWING GOD AND BEING KNOWN BY HIMReady to take the First Step to walk with Jesus?
The very first step you need to take is to BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST for salvation.
Say this Prayer:
Dear God in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness. I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin. You said in the bible that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead, we shall be saved. Right now I confess Jesus Christ as my Lord. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved. Amen.
Romans 10:9 says, “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved”.

After taking the First step and choosing to follow Christ, there are additional steps that can greatly impact our daily walk with God. The Bible encourages us not to conform to the ways of this world, but rather to be transformed through the renewing of our minds. By doing so, we gain a deeper understanding of what brings pleasure to God and align ourselves with His will. These steps play a crucial role in continually renewing our minds, enabling us to discern our Heavenly Father’s desires for our lives.
At Bethel Life Center, we believe in the power of these transformative steps to strengthen our relationship with God and guide us along His path. We encourage you to embark on this journey of spiritual growth and discover the abundant life that awaits ahead. Below are the next we need to take in our getting to know God and God getting to know us.
Read the Scriptures Daily
The Bible is the word of God, and it was written to guide us to all righteousness and all truth. John 5:39 says: “ You search the scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness to me;”
Pray Daily
Through heartfelt communication with Him, we forge a profound and intimate relationship—a special bond that reflects the Father-Son dynamic that God desires us to experience. Philippians 4:6, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God.”
Visit God’s House
Invite Others
Try to invite your loved ones and friends to join you on this journey so that they too may know Christ. As followers of the Lord, we are called to spread the gospel to all corners of the world. Sharing God’s love with others is crucial for their salvation and overall well-being.
